Why Freedom Role Play?
There are tons of roleplaying sites out there. Some are okay, some are good, and some are absolutely fantastic.
Many of them are the same though. Many of them are filled with rules.
Saying Freedom Role Play is free from rules altogether would be a lie; we’re not about that. We have the golden rule which presides over the whole site…you know, be nice to others and they’ll be nice to you. We have the rule about using/requesting locked forums for violent or graphic material.
Moderators of rp-stories may impose certain rules about creating characters or in-character fighting systems.
So why is it called Freedom Role Play? For one, it’s free. You’re welcome to make donations if you like, but they will never be required. We have forum and chat capabilities. How you ask? The Administrator was able to lower her cell phone bill and so decided she loved roleplaying enough that she would sponser the chat. True story.
The other, and largest freedom is this: You can become the moderator of your own story! Whatever your story may be, think of our site as a hub for creativity. The trainstation of ideas. And if you have a great story but don’t want to moderate it, that’s okay too!
Now you may wonder why we have this blog. Truthfully, it’s mostly to drum up word of mouth. We want people to roleplay with us. Newbies and experienced roleplayers are all welcome, from all walks of life, so long as they’re out to have fun.
Also, we figure a blog might be useful in the future for other reasons we’ve not decided on yet.
